Heat Remediation

Thermal Remediation: The most effective and greenest way to eliminate bed bugs.

The scientific principle behind ABC's non-chemical, non-toxic Bed Bug Heat Treatments is simple but proven; raise the temperature of an infested area to 125 degrees to kill all life stages of bed bugs. After a single treatment, rooms can return to normal use, free of bed bugs.

How does it work?

Once heat-sensitive items are removed from the room, our trained bed bug service teams use specially designed heaters, high-powered fans and ducting to direct air flow to designated treatment areas. Clean, dry, odorless heat is used to create an environment lethal to bed bugs. Inside temperatures are monitored using digital equipment and temperature sensors to ensure temperature is maintained at levels that are lethal to bed bugs.

Benefits of Heat Treatments

  • Kills all life stages of bed bugs – adults, nymphs, and eggs with one treatment.
  • Non-chemical, non-toxic approach penetrates wall cavities, mattresses and other hard to reach areas. Heat can be used alone or augmented with natural and insecticidal dusts applied to wall voids, under baseboards and other crevices conducive to bed bug activity.
  • No odor.
  • Minimized Room Downtime. Rooms are off market or out of service for only hours.
  • Protects Room Contents. Treatment will get rid of bed bugs without damaging the contents in the infested room.
  • Safe, Clean & Convenient. Bed bug treatment is isolated to only the room being treated so it will not affect others.

Guaranteed Satisfaction.

Like all of our other services, ABC's bed bug treatment is guaranteed. Post-treatment K-9 inspection will ensure that the bed bug elimination is complete. Rest assured that we'll come back to take care of your problem should bed bugs re-infest the same room.
