How does it work?
Despite the tankless water heater's small size (think medium-sized suitcase!), it provides you with a continuous flow of hot water for your home. The tankless water heater works smoothly and easily through a few steps initiating from the moment the hot water tap is turned on. A water flow sensor detects the water flow when the water enters the heater. The sensor tells the system to ignite the burner and water is circulated through the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger then heats the water to the temperature you specify. Once the tap is turned off, the unit is shut down and does not retain any unwanted energy. The heat exchanger works the same way in a gas-burning tankless water heater as in an electric model. The tankless water heater adapts to your hot water needs, whenever.
While a traditional tank heater heats cold water slowly at the bottom of the tank as the customer is having to get rid of the heated water stored in the top of the tank, the tankless water heater generates a continuous flow of hot water whenever you want it.
