| Job Description: |
Provides Pool service to residential homes by testing pool water, adding the appropriate pool chemicals cleaning skimmer baskets, vacuuming and brushing the pool and doing an evaluation of pool and equipment.
Compensation: $26,000 to 38,000 a year after training (you are paid a commission of production).
Training period: 2 to 4 weeks (depending on experience) and will include classroom and on the job training. You will take tests throughout the training. You will be required to take exams.
Salary paid while training::$85.00 per day. |

Pool Maintenance Service Technicians are expected to work at least 5 days a week and work every other Saturday.
You must be a detailed person, who enjoys dealing with peoples, enjoys working outdoor and able to drive a manual shift truck.

- Perform service route that has been scheduled by the office.
- Evaluates pool situation by inspecting conditions.
- Must be able to swim.
- Able to read and comprehend labels.
- Presents new services that can be offered by ABC.
- Collects revenue by obtaining service verifications.
- Completes records by entering required information.
- Maintains quality results by adhering to company standards.
- Read/write reports; comprehend pesticide labels and training materials printed in English.
- Complete designated work within day/month assigned.
- Attend weekly training meetings at 7:00 AM.
- Maintains safe work habits by following company standards.
- Utilize O.S.H.A. mandated personal protective equipment.
- Utilize application equipment, inspection equipment and small hand/power tools.
- Participates in Company sponsored continuing education classes.
- Educate clients in proper use of a safe pool.
- Interface with employees at different levels.
- Operates a manual shift truck.

Education Training Experience Licensing: |
- High School education is important.
- Employee must be 18 years of age.
- Employer provides classroom and on-the-job training during the first several months of employment and continuous training thereafter.
- Following on-the-job training and the requirements, employee may be required to complete state certification/licensing process.
