Residential Sales Person
| Job Description: |
The account representative will build initial relationships with prospects and sell products and services to new and existing customers. Responsibilities include:
- One will communicate products and service features/advantages/benefits, and identify customer's needs and expectations.
- Educate prospects and customers on the value of ABC services, to include pest, pool and lawn services.
- Responsible for the achievements of new sales growth goals.
- Discuss and collect appropriate payment options including credit card, check or cash.
- Coordinates the resolution of operational and customer related discrepancies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the customers and have continued contact with follow-up phone calls and or visits as needed.
- Be familiar with the customer's account history, interest of products and services offered from ABC. Include developing and maintaining sales strategies to increase sales through all accounts and services offered.
- Instrumental in developing cross-divisional sales opportunities particularly with ADD-On Sales with products and services.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
- Provide assistance with a wide range of sales and service related inquiries.
- Ensure adherence to proper company products and services.
- Complete all documentation prior to, during and after the sales call.
- Follow all sales and operational processes.
Compensation:
Training period: 4-8 weeks (depending on experience) and will include classroom and on the job training. You will take tests throughout the training. You will be required to take and pass State exams.
Salary paid while training: $60.00 a day until background clears the State, then it's $2,000.00 per month.
After training $2,500 per month guarantee for ninety days, to be paid as follows: $1,200.00 on the 1st and $1,300 on the 15th or commissions whichever is greater for the 90 days. |

Residential Sales people are expected to work at least 5 days a week and work every other Saturday three to four months of the year you will be required to work every Saturday. You must be a detailed person, who enjoys dealing with peoples, enjoys working outdoors, able to work from a ladders and on roofs (not afraid of heights), handle dead animals, have some carpentry skills and be able to drive a manual shift truck. |

| Duties: |
- Perform Sales rout that has been scheduled by exact time by the office.
- Evaluates pest control situation by inspecting conditions; identifying new infestations and determining causes; analyzing treatment, prevention, and exclusion options.
- Evaluate pool and lawn situations by inspecting evaluating, pricing and presenting services.
- Enter/exit structures, crawl spaces, climb over/on top of structures, and ascend/descend stairs.
- Presents new services that can be offered by ABC.
- Collects revenue by obtaining service verifications.
- Completes records by entering required information.
- Will be required to pick up dead animals.
- Maintains quality results by adhering to company standards.
- Read/write reports; comprehend pesticide labels and training materials printed in English.
- Complete designated work within day/month assigned.
- Attend weekly training meetings at 7:00 AM.
- Maintains safe work habits by following company standards.
- Utilize O.S.H.A. mandated personal protective equipment.
- Utilize application equipment, inspection equipment and small hand/power tools.
- Participates in Company sponsored continuing education classes.
- Educate clients in proper sanitation as a part of the pest control program.
- Interface with employees at different levels.
- Operates a manual shift truck.

- Must pass background check.
- Must pass driving record check.
- Must pass physical examination.
- Must pass SPBC exams (at a later date).
- Must have Digital Camera
- Must pass drug test.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- May be required to possess a Commercial Driver's License.
- Must have Sales Experience

Education Training Experience Licensing: |
- High School education is required.
- Employee must be 18 years of age.
- Previous experience in extermination/pest control is preferred, but not necessary.
- Employer provides classroom and on-the-job training during the first several months of employment and continuous training thereafter.
- Following on-the-job training and the requirements, employee may be required to complete state certification/licensing process.
- Previous Sales Experience.
