ABC knows that it's much easier to prevent a cockroach invasion than it is to control one, so our approach to roach control is two-fold: prevention and eradication.

Cockroaches enter buildings in infested boxes, grocery bags, beverage cartons, and furniture. They also enter around loose-fitting doors and windows, where electrical lines or water and steam pipes pass through walls, and through sewer lines. Sealing entry points along with the elimination of breeding sites reduces the possibility of infestation and the need for pesticides, but these efforts will not only always prevent an invasion from outside sources.

ABC'S APPROACH TO PEST CONTROL SERVICES INVOLVES FOUR STEPS:

Step 1: Initial Inspection and Evaluation

Step 3: Maintaining Control

• Treat/inspect the grounds
• Treat the insect harborage areas on the exterior
• Dust wall voids (weep holes, electric lines, AC lines and other visible potential insect entry points to the structure)
• Inspect/treat interior of the structure
