Mole & Gopher Control in Fort Worth, TX

Tunneling up to 150 feet per day, moles move fast in taking over your lawn and making unsightly holes and tunnels. As a trusted family-owned business serving Fort Worth residents for over 70 years, our experts are quick on their feet to treat your yard for moles and gophers. Let the experts evict these pests for good!

We know how important it is to keep your yard looking nice for all occasions, from casual get-togethers with friends or family members visiting over the weekend. After putting time and money into making sure your yard and garden are attractive, it’s extremely frustrating when moles and gophers create those unsightly tunnels. Moles create circular holes and narrow runways in the ground, which may lead to more serious problems like soil degradation or pest infestation if left unchecked for long periods of time.

Many Fort Worth-area homeowners don’t have the tools or experience to handle a mole infestation. ABC’s trained professionals will evict the moles on your property, so you can go back to enjoying your yard. The best part is, you don’t have to be home for our team members to work since they’ll be working only on the yard, meaning you can run errands or be at work while our team is making your yard beautiful again.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens after I contact ABC?

After you reach out to ABC, a trained technician will come to inspect your property to verify that you have mole activity. They will also determine the levels of infestation and assess the amount of treatment needed. We work hard to arrange this in-person visit at your earliest convenience. During your inspection, you can expect the ABC specialist to:

  • Ask you questions about where you’ve been seeing mole activity or tunnels
  • Verify that the activity is caused by moles
  • Answer any questions you may have about moles, our processes or our treatments

At the end of the inspection, you will receive an estimate for the recommended next steps. Upon your approval, we will put your first service call on the calendar.

What are some warning signs that might point to a mole infestation?

If moles have taken up residence in your yard, you may notice these signs:

  • Molehills. Like ants, as they tunnel, they get rid of the dirt. Moles are most active during the day. The mounds for the deeper tunnels or the runway mazes for the subsurface tunnels can seemingly spring up in a single day.
  • Tunnels, which look like lines through your yard, can sometimes be seen, even though they are underground.
  • Dead plants or grass can be an indicator if moles’ burrowing activity pushes the plants or grass up, damaging root systems.

After you contact us, an ABC expert will come out to verify that these signs are caused by moles, and can answer any questions you have about their activity.

Can’t I get rid of moles myself?

Most Fort Worth homeowners don’t have the equipment needed to trap moles and don’t want to use poison or bait in the yard. Since moles live in underground tunnels, they’re difficult pests for homeowners to control on their own. ABC’s team members have the knowledge and experience to be sure that your home is free of these tunneling pests.

How often will you treat my property?

We understand that homeowners want a pest problem to be resolved in just one or two visits. However, due to the nature of moles, our pros have to return to treat your property. After your free inspection, our experts will treat your yard weekly until they see that the problem is under control. After that, they can continue monitoring your yard quarterly to make sure that moles don’t return.

What impact do the products you use have on my family and the environment?

At ABC, our top priority is your family. As a family-run business, we believe in treating your home as if it was our own, so we only select products that use in our own homes and yards. Our professionals use an organic mole repellent made from essential oils. Our mole repellent is made from citronella, garlic and other natural products. Essentially, it makes the mole’s food taste bad so they go elsewhere to look for food, and leave your yard alone.

Your pest control specialist would be happy to address any of your questions regarding the products we use and your treatment plan during any part of the process.

Do you service commercial facilities?

ABC can service your business! We understand that commercial pest control requires different strategies, which is why our team members go through additional training to learn the most effective methods to treat and prevent moles on commercial properties.
