ABC Home & Commercial Services' own ABC Anteaters won 1st Place in the men's division of the summer 1 season of the City of Austin Parks & Recreation's softball league. ABC proudly supported the American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure ride with over 50 employees turning out to volunteer at or ride in the event and help fund research efforts to fight against and cure diabetes.

Bobby and the ABC family cycled hard at this event to raise money and awareness in the fight against multiple sclerosis. Thanks to all the riders and volunteers for their hard work to support this effort.

Brothers in Arms: Ride for Charity – May - July, 2009

Brothers in Arms: Ride for Charity

The Jenkins Brothers – Bobby, Raleigh and Dennis – set out in the summer of 2009 to embark on the Brothers in Arms: Ride for Charity, an epic 2,380 mile, 42-day journey from Austin to Calgary, Canada. The ride was a recreation of one that Bobby took one summer while he was in college. This time, the brothers used the ride as a means to raise money for three of their favorite charities. Bobby dedicated his ride to Caritas, raising over $73,000 for this important organization that works to fight hunger, homelessness, and poverty in Austin.

In the spirit of giving back, ABC employees worked hard to prepare and serve meals in the Caritas Community Kitchen to help feed the hungry in the Austin community. Thanks to all who volunteered to put their time in to this worthy cause.
