When you’re looking for pest control, it’s important to find someone who can provide both professional service and practical solutions. ABC is one of the largest independently-owned companies in this state with over 30 years of experience serving River Place residents–we know what we’re doing! One way we have done this is by adopting a philosophy supported by many reputable institutions, like the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Integrated Pest Management is a philosophy of management that prioritizes interventions to be both effective and low-impact. Our customers appreciate that IPM emphasizes using non-chemical interventions first.
Pests can be a real pain, especially when invading your home. ABC’s technicians know all about pest control and will help you get rid of these pests for good. Our specialists might suggest some adjustments like changing water schedules or clearing leaves from lawns so that it’s less attractive to pests in general.
After decades in the business, we know that a well-designed treatment plan makes all the difference. Our team starts with a free inspection, during which an experienced ABC inspector will come to your home and do the following:
- Ask you questions to gather the information needed to target the pests and areas at the root of your problem.
- Conduct an initial assessment of the extent and severity of your infestation.
- Document any associated damage to your home or belongings.
- Determine what unique conditions or factors might make your home or property more attractive to pests.
- Pinpoint areas where uninvited guests are making their entrance.
- Give you a chance to ask us any questions you may have about our treatments or pest control philosophy.
Once we have gathered all of the necessary information, we will present you with a free, no-obligation estimate with recommended next steps. As soon as you approve our plan, we can get you on our schedule to get started.
After decades of serving Texas residents, we have earned a reputation for our commitment to customer service, quality of work and results for our customers. We stand out from other companies in the area because we get rid of pests without any hassle of stress, while our customers feel safe having our team inside their homes. We hire only the best of the best, and one way we do this is by conducting thorough background checks and drug testing on all of our employees.
How long will I need to wait for my service call?
We understand that once you hear mice scurrying or see a cockroach, you want results fast. When possible, we can give you an estimate over the phone so that we can schedule your first service call quickly.
However, the most effective treatment plans are based on a tailored solution. In many cases, we do ask that an inspector meet you at your home to get a full understanding of the problem. In most cases, this can happen in a few business days. After we meet with you, we will provide you with a full treatment plan. Once you review our free, no-obligation estimate, we can get your first service call on our schedule.
What’s the usual duration for your pest control treatments?
Since every pest problem is unique, so is the plan needed to address that problem. We understand that homeowners want their pest problems fixed in just one visit, but often it requires more visits than that to get rid of pests for good. Since pest activity tends to be cyclical in nature, we recommend an ongoing maintenance plan to ensure you are properly protected from the next generation of pests.
The length of your treatment plan depends on a variety of factors, like what point of the year you contact us, the insects or rodents you have noticed and the extent and severity of the infestation. We now offer year-round service to control the “big four” pests in our area: roaches, mosquitoes, spiders and scorpions.
Will I need to be at home for every treatment?
We know that being home for our service calls can put a damper on your plans. While we do ask that you be home for our first free inspection, we do offer outdoor-only services for ongoing treatments. Customers who choose this option receive periodic treatments along their home’s exterior to prevent insects and other pests.
How does ABC handle honey bees?
We do not kill or remove honey bees. We understand the value honey bees bring to the environment. ABC goes out of our way not to negatively impact bee colonies. If you believe you have honey bees in your home or yard, we’re glad to provide you with the names and numbers of local beekeepers who can be of assistance in the removal and relocation of the hive.
