When you call us to schedule an appointment, we’ll come out to inspect your home at a time that’s most convenient for you. One of our licensed Pest Inspectors will visit your home and conduct a thorough inspection of your property. During that visit, we’ll be looking for several things. We’ll identify any pests that are present and look for any accompanying damage that they’ve caused.
We will also inspect your property and look for areas or conditions that might be conducive to pest infestations, including structural problems that can contribute to the presence of pests. Inspection and evaluation of sanitation practices are also part of our service.
Once we’ve assessed your situation, we can then customize a pest treatment and control plan that will be well suited for your home and your budget.
As much as possible, ABC Home & Commercial Services strives to keep our impact on the environment low. This extends to finding solutions to your pest problems.
We strive to use as many non-chemical solutions as possible, such as heat-remediation for bed bugs or Termimesh for termites. The solutions we do use are chosen according to their compliance with environmental standards.
The well-being of your family and the environment are our top priorities and we're glad to answer questions and explain the products used, in as much detail as you'd like.
It will vary based on your needs and preferences, but in general, we come every other month for treatment.
Treatments are focused on the outside part of the house (establishing and maintaining a good barrier against pests), but we're glad to treat the inside of the house at no extra charge, whenever you request it.
We know the challenges you face as a homeowner in the College Station area, and we’re prepared to help you face those challenges. If you have a pest problem, we can help!
Several different kinds of cockroaches can be found in the College Station area. What may start out as a few cockroaches in your kitchen could easily turn into a larger problem. ABC will inspect your home and identify the extent of the issue. We will also detect conditions that might encourage roaches to stick around. Once we know what’s happening we can get started on treatment.
Wasps, bees and other flying insects can be major concerns for homeowners. Their stings can be dangerous and it can be very easy to surprise and anger these insects if you come across a nest you didn’t know was there! Due to the risk, it’s never a good idea to treat bees and wasps yourself. Additionally, bees are the most prolific pollinators in the animal kingdom, making removal and relocation the best treatment option. It’s recommended to have these types of stinging pests identified quickly and removed safely by a professional beekeeper to avoid harming the nests. ABC can recommend area beekeepers as needed.
Ants have become one of the biggest pests in homes across the United States. The College Station area is home to several different species of ants, and some of these can be dangerous to humans and pets. Though ants typically make their territory outside, it is not uncommon for some ants to make their home right in yours! ABC Home & Commercial Services is here to help you get rid of them.
Spiders and scorpions mostly keep to themselves, but certain species can be dangerous if disturbed. Our highly-trained pest control specialists have years of experience handling spider and scorpion infestations and can safely identify, remove, and treat for them, and then create a plan to keep them out.
Fleas and ticks aren’t just problems for pet owners—rodents and other forms of wildlife can track these pests onto your property where they can easily be brought inside your home. Fleas are actually immune to the effects of insecticides at certain times during their life cycle, so it’s essential to understand the biology of these pests to be able to treat for them properly. ABC Home & Commercial Services can provide the expertise needed to comprehensively treat your home for fleas and ticks.
We strive to spray minimally. When we do apply products, we apply them responsibly with as little impact on the environment as possible.
