How much damage will occur to my yard during sprinkler installation?
ABC believes in treating your home as if it was our own. While we will do our best to have as little impact as possible while installing your sprinklers, there are some factors we don’t have control over, such as the weather, how many rocks and roots there are on your property and the amount of debris we encounter during installation.
Our crews will always leave your lawn in the best condition possible once the installation is complete. In most cases, any grass that was disturbed when we were working on your sprinklers will grow back in about a month.
What’s the best time to water my lawn?
We recommend to our customers that they water their lawn early in the morning, when the wind hasn’t picked up yet and evaporation rates are lower. Also, as the day goes on, the water slowly seeps into the soil and part of it gets evaporated by the sun. If you wait until the afternoon, much of the water will evaporate and not enough will reach your soil. Watering in the evening doesn’t allow enough of the water to evaporate and can lead to the growth of mildew and fungus on your lawn.
How much should I water?
The answer to question will vary on a case by case basis. When our customers ask us how much they should water, our recommendations take into consideration the grass type, soil type, sun exposure, length of grass and what season it is.
