When you contact ABC for pest control services, and we recommend an inspection, you can expect that during this in-person meeting, your pest control professional will:
- Ask you questions about where you have noticed pests or pest activity.
- Examine your home for any pest-related damage.
- Find any structural issues or other unique factors that may make your property appealing to pests.
- Answer any questions you may have about our pest control options.
- Create a customized treatment plan for your property.
After your inspection, we will present you with a list of recommended next steps to resolve your pest problem. Upon your approval of our estimate, we will get your first service call on the schedule. Typically, we can make this appointment within 3 to 4 business days of your reaching out to us.
During our regularly scheduled follow-up visits, our licensed pros will treat any outdoor areas where pests may be hiding as well as any potential pest entry points, such as around wall voids, weep holes, electric lines and air conditioning lines. We may also recommend steps to take outside to prevent future infestations.
Customers who sign up for our ongoing monitoring program receive regular applications of preventative treatments and checks for new signs of pest activity on a regularly scheduled basis. These preventative efforts can safeguard you from a full-blown infestation.
Homeowners and businesses all over Texas have been choosing ABC for their pest control needs for over 70 years. In addition, all ABC technicians go through an in-house training program so that they are equipped to provide you with the most effective treatments possible. Last, but certainly not least, one of our values is that we will always treat your home as if it was our own. So, you can feel confident that we will treat your home and belongings with care.
How soon can you come out?
We understand that you want to act quickly when you discover you have a pest problem or when you discover your pest problem is much larger than you had anticipated. Give us a call or schedule an appointment online and we will send a certified specialist to your home at the earliest opportunity.
How often will you come to service my property?
As every pest problem is unique, every treatment plan will be slightly different. Unfortunately, this means there is no one answer to this question. While homeowners would prefer to hear that their pest problem will be resolved in just one or two visits, we often tell our customers that multiple service calls are often required to effectively manage a pest population.
When determining how many treatments are needed for your particular problem, we will take into account the type of pest on your property, the season in which the infestation is taking place and the extent of the problem. Additionally, some pests have seasonal life cycles and may require quarterly calls in order to ensure they are gone for good.
What if I still see pests after a treatment?
It is actually quite normal to see an uptick in pest activity shortly after your pest control treatment. When we apply treatments to pest resting and breeding areas, these areas will be impacted. Bugs and critters will recognize that they need to start looking elsewhere for a new place to nest. The good news is that these pests will often unknowingly be bringing treatment solutions with them to wherever they end up going next. Depending on your treatment plan, you may notice pest activity 7 to 10 days after initial treatment.
If you are still seeing an abnormal level of pests between 7 and 30 days after your initial treatment, reach out to us. We would be happy to send a specialist back to your home, at no additional cost to you.
What impact do the products you use have on my kids, pets and the environment?
As a family-run business, our top priority is your family. When we are selecting the products for your treatment plan, you can rest assured that we only use the products that we would feel comfortable using on our own property. Your technician will apply the lowest concentration of chemicals possible so that our treatments are both low impact and effective. If you have any concerns regarding the products we use, your pest control specialist would be happy to address them.
Do you service commercial facilities?
Yes, ABC services commercial facilities! We have technicians that are specially trained to provide pest control at all types of businesses and other commercial properties, including retail stores, apartment complexes, restaurants and schools.
