During your inspection, one of our pest control experts will visit your home or business to:
- Ask you questions regarding the pest activity you have seen and the extent of the infestation
- Locate pest entry points and any pest-related damage
- Inspect your home for any structural issues that could make your property more susceptible to a pest infestation
- Answer any questions you may have regarding our findings
- Create a customized treatment plan, based on your needs
Upon your approval of our estimate, we will go ahead and schedule your first service call, which is normally about three to four business days after your inspection.
During your regularly scheduled follow-up visits, we will treat areas around the exterior of your home where pests may be hiding and locate and seal off any potential entry points for insects, such as holes in your walls, weep holes, electric lines and air conditioning lines. We will also be on the lookout for areas that could be susceptible to crawling insects, such as cockroaches and ants. Finally, we will implement simple changes around your home to protect your home against future pest infestations.
With ABC’s ongoing maintenance program, our specialists will periodically check conditions around your home that may attract new pests. We will also replenish any products that are designed to protect your home from pests.
Homeowners and business owners have been relying on ABC for pest control services for over sixty years. As a family-run business, one of our values is treating your home as if it was our own. In accordance with this philosophy, ABC only hires the best of the best after an extensive hiring process. Before offering our technicians a job, candidates are drug tested and checked for criminal history, so you can feel safe with an ABC technician in your home. Finally, all team members go through additional in-house training to learn about these pests’ life cycles and habits, so ABC’s comprehensive pest control plans are based on the latest research in effective long-term pest control techniques.
How soon can you come out?
We understand that at first sign of an unwanted pest on your property, you want a professional to your home as quickly as possible. You can give us a call or schedule an appointment online, and we will send a pest control expert to your home at our earliest availability.
How often do you service my property?
There is no cut and dry answer to this question, because every pest infestation is different. We will have to assess what pest has invaded your home and the extent of your infestation to provide you with a better indication of how many treatments your issue will require to resolve. In addition, some of our products last for a limited amount of time, so we may recommend monitoring calls to protect your home from a future infestation.
What if I still see pests after a treatment?
It is actually common to see an uptick in pest activity shortly after a treatment. This is because we have applied treatments to breeding and resting grounds and these insects and animals are on the lookout for a new place to live. However, with many of these treatments, they will actually be bringing the product back to whatever area they decide to inhabit next.
If you don’t experience a decrease in pest activity 7 to 10 days after our service, give us a call. Any return visits after the initial 7 days and within 30 days will be provided at no additional cost to you.
Are the products you use safe for pets and children?
At ABC, our top priority is your family, your pets and your home. We work with our customers to develop a treatment plan that is customized to your home. As a part of your customized treatments, our trained and skilled technicians will only use products that are specially formulated for residential use. In addition, we minimize the use of chemicals whenever possible and can provide you with Material Safety Data Sheets on all of the products we use.
