During your inspection, you can expect one of our pest control specialists to:
- Inquire about where you’ve been noticing pests or pest activity.
- Assess your property to identify pest hiding spots as well as potential pest entry points.
- Identify any pest-related damage.
- Determine if there are any structural issues or unique factors that may make your property attractive to pests.
- Answer any of your questions regarding the pest activity or our treatment options.
- Create a customized treatment plan for your particular problem.
After we finish up your inspection, we will present you with a pest control plan that is tailored to the infestation on your property. Once we receive your approval, we will schedule your first appointment. Typically, we can get your first service call on our calendar within the next 3 to 4 business days.
During our regularly scheduled follow up calls, we will treat any areas where pests may be hiding outdoors and any potential entry points for insects. For example, we may treat wall voids, weep holes, electric lines and air conditioning lines. We will also assess your property for any factors that may make your home more vulnerable to crawling pests, such as cockroaches and ants, and recommend minor modifications to prevent a future infestation.
Our customers who take advantage of our ongoing treatment program benefit from routinely scheduled service calls performed by our licensed and highly-trained pest control professionals. During these service calls, your pest control specialist will examine your home for any new factors that could be attracting pests, replenish any needed materials and apply preventative treatments.
ABC is a family-run, locally-owned pest control company that has been serving homeowners and business owners for over 70 years. Because of our years of experience in the pest control industry, ABC has learned the best ways to target and eliminate pests, as well as how different seasons and weather conditions affect local pest behavior. Part of the reason customers choose ABC is that they know they can trust our technicians, as all job applicants are drug tested and background checked. Finally, one of our values is that we will always treat your home as if it was our own. So, you can expect that our trained professionals will leave your home in better condition than we found it.
How soon can you come out?
ABC understands that if you have discovered you have pest activity in your home or yard, you want to start pest control treatments promptly. Get in touch by calling or scheduling an appointment online and we will schedule an inspection at the earliest opportunity. Sometimes, we are even able to give estimates over the phone!
How often will you service my property?
Although we wish we could tell you that your pest problem will be resolved in just one or two visits, we find that the most effective treatment plans often require additional service calls. When we create your custom treatment plan, we will give you an idea of how many treatments your infestation will require based on the pest that is on your property, the extent of the infestation and the season in which the infestation takes place. Since some pests have seasonal life cycles, quarterly calls can ensure that any potential problems are treated before they turn into full-blown infestations.
What if I still see pests after a treatment?
It is actually common to see an uptick in pest activity shortly after a service call. When one of our technicians arrives on your property for a service call, we apply products that make current nesting and breeding areas uninhabitable. So these pests are often more active as they start searching for a new place to live. In many cases, these pests will unknowingly be bringing a pesticide with them to wherever they decide to nest next. If you haven’t seen a decrease in pest activity anywhere between 7 to 10 days after treatment, let us know and we will send a specialist back to your home. Any visits 7 days after your initial service and within 30 days of your initial service will come at no additional cost to you.
Are the products which you use pet and kid-friendly?
As a family-run business, we select our residential pest control solutions with our kids, pets and the environment in mind. All of the products we select are specially formulated for residential use. Our trained technicians are directed to apply these products in the lowest concentration of chemicals possible. Our goal is for our treatments to be both low-impact and effective. If you have any questions regarding our treatments, your pest control specialist would be happy to answer them.
Do you service commercial facilities?
Yes, ABC is fully equipped to service commercial facilities. We understand that businesses have different needs and requirements than residences, so we have specially trained technicians who service these types of facilities.
