Effective Pest Control Solutions

During your in-person meeting, you can expect your pest control professional to:

The ABC Process

1. Contact ABC

When you contact us, we will schedule an inspection to get an understanding of the problem. In some cases, we can give you a quote over the phone.

2. Get An Estimate

If you have an inspection, we will send you a custom treatment plan and estimate afterward. Once we get your approval, we will schedule your treatment.

3. Treatment

We will come to your property and treat for pests in common hiding and nesting areas. Over time, you will start seeing less and less pest activity.

4. Prevention

Customers with our ongoing pest management services will receive periodic retreatments to prevent the return of the most common pests in our area.

At the end of our assessment, we will present you with an estimate for a customized pest control treatment plan. Once we receive your approval, we will put your first treatment call on our schedule. We can typically make this happen within 3 to 4 business days.

During our regularly scheduled follow up calls, you can expect us to treat outdoor hiding spots for pests, as well as any potential pest entry points. We may apply solutions in and around wall voids, weep holes, electric lines and air conditioning lines. We will also inspect your property for any potential contributing factors that could explain why your home is attracting crawling pests. To help reduce the likelihood of a future infestation, we may recommend making minor modifications to your yard.

Our customers who sign up for our ongoing pest management program benefit from routinely scheduled treatments to prevent the return of pests, since most pest activity is cyclical in nature. During these regularly scheduled calls, your pest control technician will replenish any needed products, apply preventative treatments wherever it is needed and check for any signs of new pest activity.

ABC has been a household name across Texas, Oklahoma and Florida for generations. Through our decades of experience providing commercial and residential pest control in Stafford and beyond, we’ve learned the best way to target pests, and how weather and other environmental factors can impact pest behavior. ABC is a family-owned and operated business, so we understand you want to feel comfortable whenever a technician arrives at your home. To ensure that we are hiring the best of the best, we have a thorough hiring process in place, which includes a drug test and a criminal background check.

Before conducting service calls, all of our specialists go through an additional in-house training program to supplement their licensing. In this program, we educate them on what we’ve learned about pest control after decades of experience, as well as what our expectations are for customer service. Finally, one of our values is that we will always treat our customers’ homes as if they were our own.

Frequently Asked Questions

How soon can you come out?

We understand that if you’re feeling frustrated about a pest problem, you want a specialist to come to your home promptly to begin a treatment plan. Just give us a call or schedule an appointment online and we will send a licensed technician to your home as soon as possible. Sometimes, we’re even able to offer estimates over the phone.

How often do you come to service my property?

Because each pest problem develops because of a variety of factors, every pest control management plan that we create is unique. We understand that most people want to hear that their pest problem will be resolved in just one or two visits. However, in order to adequately control a pest population, we typically recommend multiple treatments. When we create your treatment plan, we take into account the type or types of pest on your property, the severity of the problem, the time of year in which the problem is taking place and any other factors that make your property more attractive to these unwanted visitors.

Since many of the pests in the Houston metropolitan area have seasonal life cycles, we will likely suggest ongoing treatments to prevent the return of pests. During these appointments, we will apply preventative products and inform you of any new signs of pest activity so we can stop a potential pest problem before it turns into a larger headache.

What if I still see pests after a treatment?

There is a possibility that you will see pests after your initial treatment. This is because we have made these creatures’ nesting areas inhospitable and now these pests are looking for a new place to live. However, the target insects or critters will unknowingly be bringing the product with them to whichever area they decide to inhabit next. Eventually, this will lead to the reduction of pest populations on your property.

Any pest activity 7 to 10 days after your initial treatment is considered normal. If you’re still noticing pest activity anywhere from 7 to 30 days after the first treatment, get in touch with us. We would be happy to send a pest control professional back to your home, at no additional cost.

Are the products which you use pet and kid-friendly?

As a family-run business, your family is our top priority. When we are selecting which products to use for residential pest control in Stafford, we only select those that are specially formulated for residential use. Additionally, we only select solutions that we would feel comfortable using on our own properties. As a part of your initial inspection, your specialist will determine the lowest concentration of product to use to be both low impact and effective. If you have any further questions about the products that we use or our pest control plans, your specialist would be happy to answer them.

Do you service commercial facilities?

ABC is happy to provide your business with commercial pest control. We understand that commercial facilities have different requirements than residential properties, which is why we have technicians that go through additional training to service commercial properties.

“I would definitely recommend ABC!! They were professional, courteous, and did a great job. During the treatment my blinds had to be removed, and they graciously put them back up before they left. Blair came three weeks later to do a follow-up check and was extremely friendly and helpful. He gave me more information and suggestions in regards to staying bed bug free. He even carried my large Amazon package into the garage for me. I would definitely recommend them for all your pest control needs. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Do your research, but this is the company to choose for your pest and rodent control. A new townhouse community is being developed in an adjacent wooded field, so all these woodland creatures started relocating to our established neighborhood. I get it, this land was theirs before it was ours, but after 20 years, they had no right to move into my house rent free. The cute hares/ rabbits were ok at first. They would flop around, and the worst they would do is leave small chocolate eggs in the yard. But when we heard scurrying in the attic, our anxiety levels started to rise. We were already overwhelmed by a pipe bursting in the garage in February due to a flash freeze. Then we noticed droppings as the restoration company came and cleared out the garage. But we really didn't connect all the dots because simultaneously we were caring for my 85 year old grandmother who was on hospice care from terminal breast cancer. So our hands were a little full at the time. But when we saw evidence that there was probably a mouse or something, we had to make it a priority. I called 3 or 4 local companies for quotes. 2 came to the house and 2 acted like they could care less about actually securing my business but were willing to quote hundreds of dollars for the service. One thing that stood out was the other companies said they would plug the holes leading into the house, but 2 said they don't go into the attic. Well that's where we heard them and so it didn't make sense to not go in the attic to hunt them down. Then Kirby from ABC came out. He did a thorough inspection and designed a plan to attack the problem. They definitely weren't the cheapest company, but they provided the best proposal with the strongest warranty. So we pulled the trigger. The crew was very professional and plugged holes and set traps. And the we waited. But there were no dead mice for weeks. So they came back out and found more holes to plug. Then the rodents got more desperate. One was bold enough to entire the kitchen at night. I was ready to burn down the entire house. Frustration was level 10. By this point my grandmother had passed away. Grief plus phobia and a general sense of absolute exhaustion had settled in. All the techs that came out were nice, friendly, professional and courteous, BUT we were sick of the rats running our house. I was also frustrated by what seemed to be a long wait between reporting sightings and an available appointment time. Mark Rodriguez came out and did a good job observing the situation and he realized that a supervisor was needed for a solution. Enter Kenneth! He was absolutely amazing. Between crawling through the attic and discovering new holes to tracking down a food source (a case of mac snd cheese boxes) in the garage that my grandmother left months before her passing (she was always prepared for when her great-grandchildren came over), Kenneth understands the mind of a mouse and the rationale of a rat. He made it his mission to eliminate these evils. And one by one, he did. Kenneth is a hero in our household. He will be receiving a Christmas card this year. My grandmother's dying wish was to rid the house of these invaders, and Kenneth and his team were able to accomplish that. It was worth ever penny for the complete customer care and warranty on the work. If you are looking for a quality solution, you've found it. Be patient, because rodents can be tricky and hard to eradicate, but ABC is committed to the long haul.”
