Can you remodel my pool or do pool replastering?

We can install ladders and pool lights, install new water features, add outdoor lighting and replaster or retile existing surfaces. We can also provide you with landscaping services if you want to make improvements to the surrounding environment. Because pools do tend to attract mosquitoes, we can implement mosquito control measures around your yard so you can enjoy your pool without having to deal with itchy bites. We can even repave the area around your pool and resurface your deck for a whole backyard upgrade.

How often do you clean?

During our initial visit, one of our pool experts will examine your pool and talk with you about your preferences and needs. Together, we will come up with a schedule that best fits your budget while taking into account how often leaves and other debris accumulates in your pool.

How long do I have to wait to use my pool after chemical treatments?

With our normal treatments, we usually recommend waiting an hour before hopping in the pool. This will give the chemicals an adequate amount of time to dissolve into the water. If we shock your pool or use a more intensive treatment, we may recommend waiting until chlorine levels drop to manufacturer-recommended levels. No matter what kind of treatment we provide for your pool, our technicians can answer any questions you may have about when you can starting swimming again.

How often should I test my pool water?

We recommend that you test your pool water’s pH, alkalinity and chlorine levels once a week. Monitoring your pool chemistry at this frequency will be sufficient to make sure you're maintaining a healthy water balance.

What training do your technicians have?

All of our technicians are Certified Pool Operators who have gone through rigorous training both by earning a certification and also going through ABC's in-house training. All of our specialists have experience with pools and are knowledgeable about how to effectively diagnose and fix any problems you may come across with your pool. We can handle all of the difficult parts of your pool so you can enjoy it, worry-free.

What chemicals do you use, and are they safe for my children and pets?

As a family-run business, our top priority is your family's well being. At ABC, we only use the chemicals that are recommended by the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals within industry-recommended levels. Our technicians will take the time to address any concerns you have and answer any of your questions regarding the products we use. We can also give you guidance on where to store your pool’s chemicals between treatments to ensure they are out of reach of children and pets.

Will I be charged extra for chemicals used during pool cleaning?

For our monthly pool cleaning services, we charge a per-visit rate which includes adjusting your water balance to the standards set by the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals. If we test your water and find a significant issue with your water's chemical balance which may indicate a larger problem, we will notify you and provide you with recommended next steps. Upon your approval, we will move forward with the agreed-upon course of action that may result in an additional charge.

What pool equipment can your technicians provide for repairs and installation?

One benefit of working with ABC is that you can order new pool equipment directly through us. If we recommend replacing old or malfunctioning equipment we can provide you with options for new, often more energy-efficient components.

You can order the following parts through us:

  • Pumps
  • Pool filters
