What do ABC's pool schedules look like?

When you reach out to tell us more about what you are looking for in a pool cleaning service, we’ll recommend a schedule that can best fit your needs. Some pools may require more cleaning than others, depending on where you live, the size of your pool and the volume of debris that makes its way into your water on a regular basis.

How regularly do I need to check the chemicals in my pool?

The most basic and important pool maintenance task is keeping your chemicals balanced. Under normal conditions, you’ll want to test your water once a week, at the minimum. After a heavy rainfall or some other type of inclement weather, you’ll also want to perform a check and make adjustments, as necessary.

How long should I wait to swim after a chemical treatment?

If one of our specialists recommends “shocking” your pool as a way to address green or cloudy water, we’ll make sure to advise you on what to expect and when you can get back to swimming.

What we usually say to our customers is that manufacturers recommend re-entering the pool when chlorine levels are back to normal. For most pools, that’s an hour or so. We are happy to answer any questions our customers have about the work we have done or how to keep your pool running smoothly.

When can you get started?

Will I be charged extra for pool chemicals?

We don’t like surprises any more than the next pool owner, so here at ABC, we strive to be completely transparent so that you don’t feel like you are paying for any “hidden” fees.

Our regular pool service cost covers any pool chemicals we need to add to your pool to maintain the manufacturer-recommended levels. We charge a per visit fee for these services.

In the rare event that a technician discovers a bigger problem with your pool chemicals, we will be in touch about a proposed solution, which of course we’ll get approved before we do any work. In these situations, we may need to schedule an appointment that’s separate from your normal cleaning time.

What parts are you able to replace in my pool?

We will only recommend replacing a part if this work needs to be done. We can replace most parts of a pool. To give you a better idea of what types of work we usually perform, we can swap out:

• Circulation and suction lines
• Time clocks
• PVC pipe (plus any needed materials to fix leaks)

When performing a repair, does ABC install used parts?

ABC’s technicians have many of the most commonly-needed parts on hand, so in many cases, you don’t have to worry about getting a part shipped to you. If we can make a repair using existing parts, we certainly will. In the event that we see a component is too worn to work properly, we’ll check with you to approve getting the replacement done. When we do so, we’ll use new parts only, and we’ll make sure the replacement part is working correctly before the service call is over.
