At ABC, we pride ourselves on being a full-service pool provider, so that means that we can typically handle any type of issue you are having with either a fresh or salt water pool.
To be more specific, here are the services Katy residents typically call us in to help on:
The most routine, and arguably the most time-consuming task that pool owners have on their to do list, is cleaning their pool. Nobody wants to swim in a cloudy or green pool, and a build up of debris can easily cause your pumps and filters to become overworked, which can lead to bigger problems. You won’t have to worry about any of these potential problems if you take advantage of ABC’s regular pool cleaning service. Our reliable and detail-oriented technicians will skim, brush and vacuum your pool to take care of any unsightly dirt, leaves or other materials that might have gotten into your pool. We can also wash along your water line so you won’t have stains. While we’re at it, we test your pool chemistry (that means your chlorine, pH, cyanuric acid, calcium hardness and alkalinity) and make any adjustments to restore the balance. In rare cases, we can also perform an acid wash and drain all the water out of your pool before getting it refilled.
Most of us take our pool equipment for granted—that is, until it stops working. When that happens, troubleshooting, ordering parts, researching a fix and actually making a fix can take much longer than you first anticipate. Why go to all that hassle when a highly-trained ABC technician can get your pool repaired quickly, and done right the first time? Our technicians will do our best to repair malfunctioning filters, pumps or other components and have many replacement parts on hand so you don’t have to wait to get your pool back up and working.
If your pool is the centerpiece of your backyard and a frequent gathering spot, you may decide to make the investment in upgrading your pool, whether that means giving it a makeover so it better fits your current style or simply adding new elements, like a diving board or water feature. Let ABC make your vision a reality so that you get the most out of your investment and improve your home’s resale value.
Has the bottom of your pool become rough over time, or will stains just not come out, no matter how much time you spend scrubbing or what products you use? It may be time to replaster your pool.
Ove time, the plaster in your pool breaks down, especially in our brutal Katy sun. By replastering, you can give your entire pool a new look and vastly improve the condition of the surface. ABC’s pool experts can advise you on whether or when to replaster and all your options if you are still making a decision.
With our help, you can spend your time enjoying your pool, not working on it.

Last, but certainly not least, we promise to treat your pool as we would our own.
How often can I expect ABC to clean my pool?
We are happy to speak with you in person or over the phone about what cleaning schedule would work best for your needs and your budget.
How often do I need to check my pool chemicals?
Most pool manufacturers recommend testing the chemicals in your water at least once a week during the months you are using your pool to make sure your swimmers will be safe. When we experience heavy rainfall or another major weather event, you will likely want to re-test your water immediately afterward to make any needed adjustments.
How long do I have to wait after a chemical treatment to use my pool?
If and when we recommend performing a chemical treatment on your pool (usually referred to as a “shock”), we will be in close communication with you so that you understand when it’s safe to re-enter your pool and any other precautionary measures you should take. The most accurate way to tell when you can start swimming again is to test your chlorine levels and make sure they are back into the recommended range. In most cases in our area, you can start using your pool again about an hour after a shock treatment.
When can you get my on the schedule to work on my pool?
We understand that any time you spend waiting on a company to come service your pool takes away from your swimming. With that in mind, we do our very best to get you on the schedule as quickly as possible. Based on your availability, we can generally schedule your appointment within just a few business days so your swimming routine isn’t disrupted for long.

When you make repairs, do you use parts that have been reconditioned?
