No pool owner wants to dive into dirty water—not to mention the impact an accumulation of dirt and other debris can have on your pool balance and equipment. Taking a break from brushing, skimming and vacuuming your pool isn’t really an option, either. Let ABC’s meticulous and experienced pool cleaners take this routine task off your to-do list. While we’re at it, we’ll also check and adjust your pool chemicals, as needed. That way, you won’t have to spend time worrying about your pH, cyanuric acid, chlorine, alkalinity and calcium hardness levels. Our dedicated staff will often be the first line of defense against bigger problems, since we often spot small problems pool owners miss so they can be handled before they turn into a bigger headache. If we just can’t tackle stubborn stains any other way, we can acid wash your pool and drain it so that your pool looks great again.
A minor pool repair can get complicated very quickly if you aren’t familiar with the inner workings of all the components. Even if you do have the know-how, many pool owners simply don’t have the time to troubleshoot and fix most issues that come up. Losing an entire weekend to a repair would leave anyone frustrated, especially if an experienced technician can quickly take care of the problem and get things done right the first time. Whether it’s a malfunctioning pump, a broken filter or even if you have no idea what’s going on, an ABC specialist can get everything working again, no matter what brand or type of equipment you have. Since we bring some parts with us to every service call, in many cases we can replace components in the same visit.
A pool is a big investment, and the way it looks and functions plays a big role in how much you get out of it. You may have moved into a home with an existing pool that doesn’t match your family’s tastes, or your pool may have become outdated over time. Perhaps you just want to add in new features. Whatever your motivation for remodeling your pool, you want to carefully select a company that has the experience to bring your vision into reality. ABC’s experts can do just that, while advising you on practical concerns, including how to get the biggest return on your investment.
Being exposed to the heat and elements in Cypress takes its toll on the surface of your pool. Over time, the plaster will degrade and become rough to the touch. In addition, your plaster can become stained in such a way that traditional cleaning methods just don’t work. Your pool surface can be transformed in both texture and color when you have it replastered. ABC’s pros can give you honest advice on whether replastering makes sense for your pool and help you review your options. If you do decide to replaster your pool, our specialists have all the tools and training to take on this project so you can maximize your enjoyment of your backyard oasis.
A homeowner’s to-do list is a mile long, and it’s easy for pool issues to sink—quite literally—to the bottom of your list. With ABC’s help, you can focus on relaxing poolside rather than the time and hassle that comes with this work that also eats into your precious free time.

What do ABC's pool schedules look like?
When you reach out to tell us more about what you are looking for in a pool cleaning service, we’ll recommend a schedule that can best fit your needs. Some pools may require more cleaning than others, depending on where you live, the size of your pool and the volume of debris that makes its way into your water on a regular basis.
How regularly do I need to check the chemicals in my pool?
The most basic and important pool maintenance task is keeping your chemicals balanced. Under normal conditions, you’ll want to test your water once a week, at the minimum. After a heavy rainfall or some other type of inclement weather, you’ll also want to perform a check and make adjustments, as necessary.
How long should I wait to swim after a chemical treatment?
If one of our specialists recommends “shocking” your pool as a way to address green or cloudy water, we’ll make sure to advise you on what to expect and when you can get back to swimming.
What we usually say to our customers is that manufacturers recommend re-entering the pool when chlorine levels are back to normal. For most pools, that’s an hour or so. We are happy to answer any questions our customers have about the work we have done or how to keep your pool running smoothly.
When can you get started?
We realize pool owners don’t want to wait long to get on our schedule. That’s why we try to gather as much information as possible from you over the phone to give you exactly what you need. We’ll do our best to schedule a service call in just a few days, at a time that’s convenient for you, and work with you on a regular schedule for cleaning and maintenance. Our customers tell us that they appreciate our prompt service so they can get back to swimming as soon as possible.

- Leaking skimmers, filters or pumps
- Salt cell or pump blockages

- Deteriorated pump fittings
- Excessive air in pump baskets

My pool looks great, but the area around it could use some help. Can ABC do anything?
Your pool is often the focal point of your yard, so any eyesores around it quickly become more visible, especially if you have guests and visitors over, as many pool owners do routinely. That’s another reason our pool customers are grateful they chose ABC, since we offer other home services to make our customers’ lives easier.
Just a few examples of what we can do include:
- changing out the grass around your pool area to artificial turf or another species that can handle the high foot traffic and moisture in these spots
- sprucing up your pool deck with ornamental plants or attractive beds
- controlling your mosquitoes so you aren’t constantly swatting away these bloodsucking pests while you are trying to relax
- creating pathways, walkways and other hardscaping features to help your swimmers easily move to and from your home
What can you tell me about your pool technicians' qualifications?
We couldn’t get the results we do without having highly-trained professionals serving Cypress pool owners. In addition to keeping up to date with the latest industry standards and new technologies, ABC puts employees through rigorous in-house training. Experience, superior customer service and decades spent here in Cypress dealing with all types of pool issues make us the experts.
How do you address pool owners' concerns about the impact of chemicals on kids and furry family members?
First and foremost, the well-being of your family is our top concern. We are happy to address any concerns you may have about the chemicals we are using in your pool. ABC follows standards set out by the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals, the leading industry association. We also are well-versed on manufacturer guidelines on how to maintain and repair your pool and help you avoid any unsafe conditions.
Will I be charged extra for pool chemicals?
We don’t like surprises any more than the next pool owner, so here at ABC, we strive to be completely transparent so that you don’t feel like you are paying for any “hidden” fees.
Our regular pool service cost covers any pool chemicals we need to add to your pool to maintain the manufacturer-recommended levels. We charge a per visit fee for these services.
In the rare event that a technician discovers a bigger problem with your pool chemicals, we will be in touch about a proposed solution, which of course we’ll get approved before we do any work. In these situations, we may need to schedule an appointment that’s separate from your normal cleaning time.
What parts are you able to replace in my pool?
We will only recommend replacing a part if this work needs to be done. We can replace most parts of a pool. To give you a better idea of what types of work we usually perform, we can swap out:
- Pool lighting
- Circulation and suction lines
- Time clocks
- PVC pipe (plus any needed materials to fix leaks)
When performing a repair, does ABC install used parts?
ABC’s technicians have many of the most commonly-needed parts on hand, so in many cases, you don’t have to worry about getting a part shipped to you. If we can make a repair using existing parts, we certainly will. In the event that we see a component is too worn to work properly, we’ll check with you to approve getting the replacement done. When we do so, we’ll use new parts only, and we’ll make sure the replacement part is working correctly before the service call is over.
