Customers who sign up for ABC’s Rodent Exclusion service can have peace of mind knowing that our professionals will regularly come to check traps. If a rat or mouse problem develops between these service calls, contact us. We will return to your property at no additional cost.

Unfortunately, some properties are more vulnerable to rodent infestations than others. For example, gaps between Spanish tiles make it easier for rodents to make their way into a home. Likewise, pier and beam structures are more susceptible to rodent activity because they have large crawl spaces that cannot be completely sealed off. Because we cannot guarantee results in these cases, our traditional warranty does not extend to these types of properties. • Make your yard less appealing to other forms of pests. Keep your outdoor spaces neat and tidy with regular mowing, pruning and trimming, so there are fewer places for these animals to nest. Move woodpiles away from the exterior of your home and remove any other potential nesting sites, like old tires.

These efforts can be very helpful in preventing an infestation. • Droppings, which can vary in size from a grain of rice to being about the same size as pet feces.
• Nesting sites or burrows, which can be in the dirt surrounding your home or in your attic or garage.
• Gnaw marks on wood, wires and other household items.
• Strange noises coming from your attic, chimney, walls or from underneath your deck or patio.
• Overturned trash cans or damage to pet food or birdseed containers.
