First of all I cannot begin to tell you how much we appreciate ABC.  When we are thinking about a repair or a project, we always check to be sure that ABC can take care of it for us. 
 
The two gentlemen, Mike & Ron, that came to help us with the latest job just exemplify the excellent service that we have come to expect from ABC.  Courteous & pleasant; so very capable & helpful.  They were in our home for a couple of days, and each time they left for the day, you could not even tell they had been here. They left the work area clean and uncluttered, and the finished job is perfect. 
 
ABC is very fortunate to have these two men on their team, and so are we.

What can you fix and do?

We can do it all! If it needs to be fixed, replaced or maintained, we can handle it for you. Call us for anything from basic carpentry needs to complex projects. We can do your carpentry work, paint (inside & out), install windows and railings, adjust doors, repair sheetrock, clean out gutters, assemble furniture, and more.

How soon can I have an appointment?

We will arrange for an appointment as soon as possible. ABC understands how important it is to stay on top of repairs in your home. In general, we recommend earlier, as opposed to later.  Our workload can vary widely - especially during certain times of the year - and we recommend you not wait to the last minute before contacting us.

How is the price determined?

For most "honey-do" type projects around the house, our 1/2 Day and Full Day Block Time service have proven very, very popular with many homeowners.  Our Block Time service gives you a well qualified, ABC Handyman for either four hours or eight hours.  They will tackle any "honey-do" projects you have on your to-do list.  

Upon your phone call with one of our Customer Service Representatives, we'll discuss the scope of your project or chores around the house.  With your input, the CSR will recommend and schedule either a 1/2 Day or Full Day block.  They'll match the most applicable and best fit of the ABC craftsman to your projects and schedule a day and time that works for you.  Then, at appointment time, the craftsman will show up with his tools and basic supplies to complete your work. 

If your projects require paint or other supplies from a big box store, it's a better use of your project time to have those supplies on hand already.  Otherwise, some of the block of time will be spent driving and shopping at the store.  When using the block time service, we recommend you have several projects on your list and you prioritize the completion order.  That way, you're sure to get the most important items taken care of first. 

If at the end of the designated block of time all of your projects aren't completed, the Specialist will make you aware of any additional hours needed for completion.  It will be up to you if you agree to the extra labor & pricing.

For larger projects, before service begins, we will do a walk-thru and look at the scope of your project. You will be given a quote and all costs will be discussed up front.

Why a four hour block or eight hour block of time?

Many projects around the house are small and not time time consuming for a skilled professional.  We've found that agreeing on a flat-fee, block of hours to accomplish as much as possible, it a better alternative than sending someone out to "price" a job.  The act of sending someone out into traffic to walk-thru and estimate the cost of some small jobs is expensive and that time could have been better spent actually performing the work.
