How does the free consultation work?

As with many of our services, the process begins with a free, consultation. The landscape designer will give you an opportunity to ask questions and talk over your vision. After discussing your desired elements, the designer will create a site plan to illustrate the scope of the project.

When it's time to bring the design to life, the designer will direct the crew that handles everything from removal of unneeded materials to site layout to hardscape surfaces, planting, drought-resistant considerations, and irrigation needs.

How does the design process work?

The landscaping process covers all stages, from design to implementation to maintenance. Our experienced and talented landscape designers will work with you to develop a design that displays your unique taste and sensibilities. True to Central Texas' roots, we have a deep understanding of xeriscaping, drought-tolerant landscapes, and even reduced turf footprint.

Do your designers have a certain style?

Landscaping projects give you an opportunity to express yourself in a creative and lasting way, and the intent of our designers is to bring your vision to life.

For example, you might want to add a paver walkway or something more creative. You may want to bring in colorful plants native to Central Texas and designed for drought resistance. You might even envision changing the grade of your lawn to improve runoff or adding a retaining wall. Bottom line, you dream it, we can deliver it.

ABC Home & Commercial Services has experience in all aspects of design, construction, site layout and plan management. If you want it as part of your landscaping project, we can do it.

Can a pergola or other structural elements be incorporated into a landscape design?

Absolutely!  Elements like pergolas, water features and hardscaping can be incorporated as both a design and functional feature of your landscape. Talk to the designer for more information.

What about water-wise or drought resistant designs?

ABC believes strongly in not only giving you the design and look you want, but also being good stewards of our environment.  We can absolutely recommend and design drought resistant elements like low water usage plants, cactus, stone, rock and even artificial turf as great alternatives to conventional grass and plants. Remember, we are specialists for your environment.
