Yes, ABC’s plumbers are all licensed, and our plumbing services are supervised by a master plumber (M32147). In addition, once they are hired, ABC plumbers go through additional training so they are able to handle any problems you may come across, as well as provide you with any plumbing equipment replacements, installations or maintenance that you may need.
Yes, ABC provides a one-year warranty on all plumbing services and parts. If you experience a problem after we have come out, just give us a call. We'll happy to send a licensed plumber back to your home to make things right. Also, some manufacturers offer additional warranties on their products.
ABC also has a Comfort Guarantee for the extremely rare occasions during which a plumbing problem becomes more complicated than we had originally anticipated. If you are unable to stay at your home in these situations, ABC will pay for your family to stay in a hotel until emergency repairs have been made.
Unfortunately, what may seem at first like a relatively minor issue can sometimes turn into a large (and expensive) headache. Most of these situations involve a leak that was not on a homeowner's radar. In other cases, it could be that something you've been ignoring is the culprit. Over the course of a year, a running toilet can increase your water bill by $100, for example, and a leaking faucet can waste as many as 300 gallons of water.
If you want to try to diagnose the cause on your own, we recommend inspecting all of your faucets, both inside and outside, for any slow drips. You can also check your toilet tank to see whether or not water is getting into your overflow pipe. While you're there, see if your toilet flapper is damaged.
Another common reason for abnormally high water bills is an issue with your irrigation system. Next time you run the sprinklers, check to see if there are any areas where water is pooling. Also, inspect your sprinkler heads to see if any of them are broken or damaged. If your sprinklers are the cause of your high water bill, you can rely on the irrigation experts at ABC to make any needed repairs.
While most of our calls are for plumbing repairs, ABC's licensed plumbers are fully equipped to install any new plumbing equipment or components. Whether it’s a new fixture, toilet, faucet, water heater, garbage disposal or water softener, you can rely on the plumbers at ABC to install it for you. You can also trust us to advise you on whether it would be more cost-effective in the long run for you to replace older equipment rather than make continued or extensive repairs.
The first thing you can try is pulling out anything that is clearly blocking the drain. You may not have realized, for example, that your child accidentally bounced a small ball that got stuck in the drain. If you’re doing this in a sink with a garbage disposal, use tongs to avoid injury. Once you have removed any obvious blockages, pour an enzyme-based opener down the length of the pipe. If the blockage is past where you’re able to see it, you may have to use an auger to unclog your drain.
If you have come to the conclusion that your clogged drain is going to require more effort than you're willing to put in, or you don't have the proper tools to handle the problem, ABC can help. Our technicians will be able to unclog your drain quickly so you can get back to your normal routine.
On some occasions, our plumbers come across an issue that is more complex than they had originally anticipated. If this happens, they will present you with an updated estimate and time frame for the additional repairs. Upon your approval, we will begin work on the expanded scope of services.
ABC has been providing friendly, high-quality home services throughout Texas for over 60 years. Homeowners can feel comfortable with our plumbers in their home, not only because they are licensed, but also because we only hire the best of the best and all employees are drug tested and checked for criminal history prior to joining our team.
